Fostering Hope, Empowering Communities
Mercy Coalition is a grassroots initiative aimed at fostering community support and empowerment among Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in Northern Uganda. Our mission is to alleviate the challenges faced by these individuals by providing essential items, such as clothes, shoes and other household items, and support through local community-driven efforts.
Through the collective efforts of the local community, Mercy Coalition aims to make a meaningful difference in the lives of PWDs and their household members in Northern Uganda. By fostering a culture of compassion, solidarity, and support, we believe we can create a more inclusive and equitable society where all individuals, regardless of ability, have the opportunity to thrive. Specific Objectives
The specific objectives of the task are to;
To collect donations of clothes, footwear, household utensils, and necessities from the local community.
To distribute donated items to the most vulnerable PWDs in the target regions.
To foster a sense of solidarity and compassion within the community towards PWDs.
To empower PWDs by meeting their basic needs and enhancing their quality of life.
