Senior Women Teachers from Oyam, Omoro, and Pader districts pledge to promote knowledge and implement what they learned during the just concluded Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) which involves empowering young people to know and exercise their rights including the rights to delay marriages and right the to refuse unwanted sexual advances, rights to sexuality, sexual orientation, and pleasure among others. In case of any violation of such rights, the teachers were taken through the right referral measures they can take to ensure the adolescents get justice. The training also highlighted the means of providing access to comprehensive sexuality education, services to prevent, diagnose and treat STIs and counselling on Family Planning. It was indeed a very interactive and refreshing session over a week-long exercise. The photographs included here were taken from Oyam district during the closure of ASRHR training. Thanks to all our partners for all the support that made this possible.
